“Some grow up and some grow old”

Good mooning! Hey, so the title of today’s post is from a Rancid tune I am currently stuck on called Daly City Train. Great fucking song from a great Fucking band. He says too, “when I look back it was just a flicker of time…”. And that how when he looks back through all the wreckage of his past how he has maintained a sense of himself. Wow, never was expecting this from this song. Just goes to show you not to judge a book by its cover. I have grown old I think. I am still a silly heart most of the time. I fart in elevators and think it’s funny. I laugh at dick tit and fart jokes. I know when to separate it though. I have to laugh, it’s16522899_357479911302460_803331324_n.jpg just finding someone without a stick up their ass to laugh with that proves to be difficult at times. I like to consider myself a writer, and maybe, just maybe an artist at times. Music and books, though, that’s what blows my skirt up these days. I will attach a drawing I did of my favorite mad season album cover, though. Operation Ivy just came on Take Warning! Another great fucking song. Going to be a great day, I’m feeling it this morning, ya know? One of those days. They have been stacking up lately! Funny how consistently doing the next right thing pays off in the long run. Doors being opened, opportunities presented to me from people that Used to be on the other end of the spectrum in my life i.e., judges, counselors, professors, department heads on campus and that’s just a few. Life is good, God is great, and hope is alive and well in recovery! Making new friends lately! Feels great to get out there again! To those of you in the grip of it, I pray that today is the day your life changes for the better as mine has. God Bless. I love you and you matter to me!
