Where You’ll Find Me…

Hey, hi, and hello out there. Sometimes, I just don’t want to be found. But people look all around. I try to isolate; I try and hide, by your rules, I sometimes cannot abide. So in this post, I will tell you Just Where You’ll Find Me when I don’t wanna be seen.

Look up. I’m sitting on that cloud with my feet dangling, remember? I wrote about it back in December. Maybe it was January, I also wrote about my vision and how it is no longer blurry.

Look down. I am that rainwater in the gutter, you know, along the curb? I am all out of adjectives so I had to use a verb.

Look in the mirror. I am what brought that smile, or maybe that tear. I tried to be your dream but might be your fear.

Look under your bed. I’m under there playing with those monsters you thought were only in your head. Do you remember what I said?

Look in your pocket! I snuck in while you weren’t looking! True story. I said I went to work but decided to play hooky!

Look at the Sun and on the moon! Two places I go to read when Life gets too loud and there are no clouds.

Close your eyes. I am the black under your lids!

Look for me in your dreams! Sometimes I am the unseen!

To those of you out there in the grip, I hope. We do recover. Look around. Let me in or let me down. I am Jay and I am an addict! Stay up. Stay human. I love you and you matter to me!!!21082187_453624235021360_46274296_o
